Anyone like music from Korea, China, Thailand, and other Asian countries too? I really dislike boy bands and hip-hop/r&b/rap, but my two favorite groups/artist from Korea are just that - a boy band and a hip-hopper. I guess I like them because they don't have what the American bands have - a horrible "image" with the genre. I don't like the image of American hip-hop/rap: "n***er I'mma shoot you!! then I'm going to **** your b*tch cuz I'm bad and tough!" American ...

Miyavi has to be my favorite J-rock/pop singer/musician. And apparently, since the mag he's featured in is sold out (>.<; )there's many other fans of his here. Subarashikikana, kono sekai is my favorite song by him. What do you guys think?

Discuss your favorite music composers! Movie/music, classical, or just general composers! ^.^ I'm not a Beethoven fan. My favorite classical composer is Johann Christian Bach. I just love his chamber music with the keyboard and violin. >.< I also love his pieces on the cello. BUT, buy favorite classical composition is Pachelbel's Cannon in D major on the violin. It's wonderful and relaxing. My favorite movie/music composer is John Williams. Star Wars, Indian Jones, Jaws, ...

Beings how most people have heard/heard of Dir en grey, they seem like a good choice to put a thread about. They tend to be seen as controversial from album to album, love them or hate them.

So feel free to share your opinions here :3

(I must ask though, if you're going to say "Dir en grey sucks" then please explain why you feel that way... Otherwise it's just not fun for anyone).

I'm surprised no one has started this one before ^^;;; I know the band is old but... it's still a good band- at least in my opinion. I've been listening to Jrock since a couple of years ago and they're still my favorite band.
